Your blog is actually the one that introduced me to the wonderful world of culinary blogs so needless to say you hold a special place in my heart. I really like the design and content. I'd like to see more videos and more step by step photos from you and more frequent posts. (but they have been increasing) Overall you do a great job.

♦ Content -- I love watching you tackle your 100 list. Might I suggest that as you tackle each item on that list that you make the item a linky to the post about your achievements? It would make them easier to find if I'm on the top 100 list and curious about how you made something. :)

♦ Types of Posts. I love recipe posts, cookbook reviews, and how-to posts. I know you've identified yourself as a 'baker' but your meals are delicious too and I'd love to see more of those!

♦ Posting Frequency. Whatever is convenient for you. I prefer 1-2 posts per week, but more/less doesn't mean I'll change my blog-reading ways!

♦ Design. I really like your layout, but I have to admit that most of the time I receive your posts via feeds on Google Reader, and don't really get to see the layout much.

♦ Blog Features. What would make your reader experience better?

♦ Community. I'm fine without this...I can hardly keep up with the communities I do participate in online!

♦ Services and Tools. Short-cut posts (items to save time), maybe helpful substitution posts as well to help use what I have in the kitchen.

♦ Pros and Cons. Pros -- your design is fabulous. I just don't get to see it much since I'm in google reader.
Cons -- I don't know of any!!

♦ Other Ideas and Feedback. I've been reading your blog since before you had your own little design and before you swapped the name to brown eyed baker -- and you've grown leaps and bounds! I love reading your stuff -- keep it coming!

I really have no complaints about your site - I love it! As far as suggestions for the future, I would love some how-to posts, maybe some on yeast breads? I have a slight fear of making my own bread because I'm not really sure how long to knead. Really any kind of how-to post would be great. I think product reviews would be nice too - like if there's a certain tool or ingredient in the kitchen that you think is a 'must-have' in general or for certain cooking or baking techniques. Any little tricks or insights you can provide are always appreciated!

Like Brocka, I really enjoy your to-do list of things that you want to learn to make. As far as site design, I love the header, but then down below there is a lot of boring white space with nothing going on, I guess that's different on the posts where there are pictures though, so maybe it's not so bad.
Types of posts: in a food blog I really prefer recipe posts to product/cookbook reviews, how-to posts are nice too.

Hey Michelle! This is a different Erin lol. Like her I also view your post almost everyday, I even have you as a link on my blog! Your blog is awesome and you do a fantastic job! If you wanted to add anything I think some reviews of baked goods from online or local bakeries would be cool (that is if you can afford to do it with todays economy) Anyway I love you site and happy Anniversary!

Brocka - Thanks for the feedback, the My 100 list definitely helps to supply me with a constant cache of ideas!

Erin - Thanks so much for all of your feedback, and thank you for visiting daily! One of my goals is to get to posting every day, at least Monday through Friday, so hopefully you'll have something new to see each day!

I’d like to see more recipe posts, how-to posts, and link/recipe roundups. I also enjoy pictures of cute food/ new ways to use ingredients to make things simpler.
I personally check the blog daily (as a part of my procrastination regimen) so if you were to post daily, that’d be super snazzy, but I really would prefer anything more than once a week.
I’m not sure how others are viewing the site, but I check it on my itty bitty laptop and your layout is perfect for my tiny screen. I can always see the pictures and I never have to scroll sideways. I like that it’s not cluttered.
I’ve always enjoyed when bloggers had a list in their side-bar of blogs they also enjoy. It’s helpful sometimes when I’m looking for a recipe or an idea.

Congrats on your upcoming anniversary!
