I just purchased a #26 brasier at home goods for 139! Marshalls also had them for the same price but didn't have as many colors in stock. Love it!

two years later... Hi Ashley, I found Le Creuset at HomeSense yesterday in Ottawa. I'm pretty sure they would have it in other locations across Canada.
Cheers!

I have 22 pieces of Le Creuset--some vintage--that I have been trying to sell! Several skillets, some vintage with wood handles, pots, dutch oven, casseroles, even a defeou (spelling) that has never been used and sells for $189. I would sell all pieces for $500. Colbalt blue! Just don't need them and want a 7-8 piece set of cookware!

To everyone in regards to LeCreuset. You can weekly visit the noted stores above especially check with the manager to see when the new inventory is shelved. In housewares you'll find lots of those items for more than 80% off the original listed price. I even got the amazing $159 Calphalon double burner griddle for $12, yes it's true. I checked the Internet site and the main stream stores and it was the real deal. I have bought the largest dutch oven for $49. I also have a cobalt blue set that I got back in 1980 which was my first set of cookware and I still have that set today. They even had a 1 qt sauce pan with a top that also served as a mini frying pan which they haven't made anymore since then and by itself it sold for $135 back then. So yes buying the cookware is worth its weight (and I do mean weight) in gold. If you take care of the pieces or sets they can be passed on down through your family for generations to come. They are just that good!!! Just make sure to get the new inventory dates in the stores you visit and you'll get many surprises of LeCreuset - just don't let them slip past your hands or you'll be sorry when you find out that a particular pot or color doesn't exist anymore. I have two charcoal (not black) large dutch ovens that I haven't seen anywhere else. I'll never give them up.

Just a quick note too. Always find out the stores delivery days and when the merchandise is newly placed on the shelf. I love Marshalls as well because I bought the Calphalon double burner griddle (originally $159) for $12.95 yest that's right and it was in perfect condition. I got it about 6 years ago and it's still in mint condition. I buy all of my LeCreuset cookware and bakeware there as well. I got all of the 9 qt casserole dutch ovens for no more than $49.95 (originally $300 plus). I also got the charcol grey one for $39.95 all complete with lids in mint condition. I trust going when I know the new shipment is inventoried and shelf stocked and when the doors first open. I'm guaranteed the top of the pick and to this date no defects nor any wear or problems at all with my cookware pieces. Yes Marshalls is my God send. I bought my first LeCreuset (10 pc colbalt blue for $179.00) in 1980) and now added to that collection which is still in mint condition. The porcelain interiors are just fine and still looks great in my kitchen.

Hi Jason - Nothing is different about the material in the products that I am comparing. The stoneware is traditionally less expensive than the enameled cast iron, but the butter dish and bakers found in Marshall's are exactly the same as the ones found in the outlet store or in other retail outlets.

Oh oh oh! This is exciting news! I just started working at a store which is basically like my town's version of Sur La Table. There is all this fabulous Le Creuset everywhere in all these pretty colors and now I WANT one! But even with the 30% employee discount I get, full price is a lot of money. I will definitely have to go bargain shopping!

You are right about the price of Le Crusset. I was in an outlet store for restaurants, and I gagged at the 345$ cost for a crusset tagine.

I wonder though, is thickness an issue here? The name may be the same, but it strikes me that perhaps something might be different about it? Worth investigating...

Le Creuset outlets are now 40% off until November 24th? and they ship, sometimes for free, plus since we don't have a outlet in our state I didn't have to pay taxes. I have bought several things in the last month and they couldn't have been nicer, they also took their time to look for a perfect unblemished one and I can't see why it is a second.
Sign me obsessed with Le Creuset, Heidi

Le Creuset outlets are now 40% off until November 24th? and they ship, sometimes for free, plus since we don’t have a outlet in our state I didn’t have to pay taxes. I have bought several things in the last month and they couldn’t have been nicer, they also took their time to look for a perfect unblemished one and I can’t see why it is a second.

What a great tip! This summer I snagged an older dutch oven (no lid) in gorgeous turquoise for 50 cents at a rummage sale! A little overnight in a bag with some ammonia and it's good as new!

I have purchased a few red Le Creuset items from TJ Maxx - butter dish, salt and pepper shakers, a pitcher, and a tiny rectangular baking dish. You're right, there is nothing really wrong with them, at least from my standards, and they are gorgeous and authentic LC. I have also seen large stockpots. In my shopping adventures I have yet to find cast iron fry pans or anything like that, but I feel that it's only a matter of time.. :)

Thanks for the tip. My mother-in-law bought me a Martha Stewart le creuset look-alike cast iron dutch oven a few years ago and while it's pretty, it as chipped in several places and I'm certain it does not cook like true le creuset.

I've also found some Le Creuset deals at TJMaxx. It's excellent! I also lucked out (with the help of coupons) by finding a 5.5 qt. dutch at the Le Creuset outlet for $114. Not a flaw to it! :)
