The Weekend Dish: 4/2/2011

I’m closing out my vacation in Florida today (boo, hiss) by taking in a Penguins game against the Florida Panthers tonight. Woo, my first Pens away game! Tomorrow we hit the road to head back home and hopefully the weather is a bit warmer than we left! I want to thank all of the wonderful ladies who took the time to guest post for me this past week while I was away – Dara, Tracy, Lauren, Jenny and Susan. I loved all of the recipes and was so thrilled to have you on Brown Eyed Baker! I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled posting on Monday, so stay tuned for more recipes!

Now as always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week. Enjoy! :)

On Brown Eyed Baker This Week

Salmon Pierogies – A wonderful Pittsburgh/Vancouver fusion recipe brought to you by my hockey-loving friend Dara!

Baked Doughnuts with Cinnamon-Sugar – Love these doughnuts with slightly less guilt! Thank you to Tracy for the awesome recipe!

Vegan Chocolate Cupcakes – One of my sister’s favorite baked goods, thanks to Lauren for sharing them!

S’mores Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies – Totally and utterly amazing. Love the baking genius gene that Jenny has!

Mango Berry Macarons – Bright, fresh and light – love these macarons from Susan!

What I Bookmarked This Week

Since I’ve been vacationing this week, I haven’t been doing much blog-browsing, so no bookmarks this week, but it will be back next week!

Hope you all have a delicious weekend!

Pens and Panthers, so jealous. Although it has no playoff implications it should still be sweet. Hopefully Crosby is healthy and ready to go. Enjoy!
