The Weekend Dish: 8/6/2011

This week was a total indulgence in everything I love and enjoy – chocolate and peanut butter, chocolate and cheesecake, chocolate by itself, and of course addicting dip. Certainly a great week by all accounts! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! While I have enjoyed the summer, I am looking forward to next month – cinnamon, pumpkin, apples, and all things fall baking are calling my name!

As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week as well as some bookmarked recipes from other blogs. Enjoy! :)

Jalapeño Popper Dip – A great dip for summer parties, or to get you geared up for football season.

Cream Cheese Brownies – A combination of two favorite desserts – brownies and cheesecake!

Double-Chocolate Loaf with Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Spread – I shared this guest post over on Cookin’ Canuck this week.

What I Bookmarked This Week

Recipes from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like too:

Amber Ale Hot Dog Buns (Evil Shenanigans)
Homemade hot dog buns, and they’re made with beer! That sounds absolutely perfect, and now I want a hot dog!

Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake Bars (A Bitchin’ Kitchen)
I love the combination of blueberry and lemon, as well as blueberry and cheesecake. Therefore, I suspect that these are amazing.

Caramel Hot Chocolate Floats (The Fresh Fridge)
Even though it’s still blazing hot outside, this sounds amazingly refreshing (and delicious)!

Cinnamon Roll Cake with Maple Cream Cheese Frosting (Cooking for Seven)
I am 100% sold that this can be my breakfast, lunch & dinner for an entire weekend. Amazing!

Peach Ice Cream (Blissfully Delicious)
Peaches are in such great abundance now, I need to get busy and make some ice cream!

Have a delicious weekend!
