What’s on Your Holiday Wish List?

I know, I know, it’s not even Halloween. I’m one of those people that takes mental notes of gift ideas throughout the year, and then once fall hits I’m like a little kid waiting for the holidays to roll around. I’m also one of those people that will watch the movie Elf in the middle of summer and thoroughly enjoy it. I can’t help it!
I have some exciting things planned for the blog this holiday season, including some great giveaways (yay!). Since it’s always nice to get something you want or need, I wanted to get a gauge of the things are highest on your wish list this year. The consensus will help me narrow down my ever-growing list of ideas
So, what do you want Santa to leave under the tree for you??

I would love a popcorn popper, a ice cream maker, and a food processer. I wouldn’t mind having the pasta attachment for my kitchen aid. Mostly I want a relaxing Christmas day with no whining, crying or complaining!

I would love an immersion blender, a nice Dutch Oven, or some new cookbooks (like America’s Test). Luckily my ‘Santa’ is pretty good and always tries to get something on my wish list.
Thanks!!!

A job! Nah, I should get that on my own. Another Super Bowl win for the Packers! Nah, they can handle that themselves. (Hopefully…) Ooh, a winning lottery ticket! Oh wait, that never happens. But in the realm of kitchen goods, I’ve been coveting a KitchenAid stand mixer for a while (and the taller cupboards to go along with it!), a set of ramekins, a good biscuit cutter or two (for pierogies, actually, instead of biscuits), and I could probably use a good pizza stone. That old sheet I have is getting a bit cut up.

There are many things on my “would love to have list” but tops in the kitchen department is a beautiful cake stand.

I’ve got quite a wishlist going – I love to look through the King Arthur Flour catalog and circle things in there. I love their stuff. My list:
3 of the 8″ cake pans so I can make tall, 3 layer cakes; another set of measuring cups;
a mini-muffin pan; their dual blade pizza cutter; also I’m wanting a second “Ove Glove” as I’ve absolutely loved the one I received on a past Christmas!

Ooh, this is fun! How did I miss this when it was first posted? I would love to see giveaways of bakeware (especially bundt pans) and fancy baking ingredients (e. g. chocolate chips). Personally, though, as soon as I can rack up $25 of stuff to buy from amazon, I totally want to get this adorable set of measuring cups in the shape of those stackable Russian dolls.

The ice cream attachment for my Kitchenaid!! That’s #1 on my list for sure. I’d also love a food processor and a nice knife set.

Dear Santa
On my list this year is a stand mixer, Id love a KitchenAid but truly ANY stand mixer would do. A new high end candy thermometer seeing as the last 4 cheap ones Ive bought have been broken by various people in the house. A new griddle so that Sunday morning pancakes are not a pain in the butt anymore. A new fryer, mine died. A new stock/soup pot, my huge one got a hole in it and now I have to cook in two pans. An ipad, cuz lugging my pc upstairs to be able to use it in the kitchen is a pain. And a kitchen island on wheels so I can put it under the window when not needed but have it for the counter space when I bake.

I would love, love, love a Kitchenade mixer!!! That way I can return my sister’s. LOL I think my heat just skipped a beat typing this.

Ideally, I would love to be able to get my frosted cupcakes to look as pretty as your Mocha Cupcakes with Espresso Frosting.
Also, some Silpat baking sheets that I have yet to indulge myself with would be lovely.

Of course anything that has to do with baking is on my wish list. It would be awesome if a basket of equipment and utensils appeared under my tree. i’d love to get that special scooper that i can make perfect shaped cookies with. i could really use a jelly roll pan, large offset spatula and some more decorating tips. I love baking<3

For my kitchen I want a LeCruest dutch oven. They are just so pretty. I would also like a family that enjoys pot roast.
Personally, I am not seeing either in my future.

I’d like an ice cream maker, a set of good (*not* Teflon-coated – we have birds) pots and pans, a good basic set of German knives, a set of those angle-view measuring cups, some Oxo cannisters (those lovely square-ish ones), a gas stove (oh, I misses my stove!!!), a gift cert for a spice shop (we’re lucky to have 2 locally!), ditto for my current fave small butcher shop, a bookstore/eBay/Amazon.com cert for cookbooks or whatever, a coffee mug warmer sized for bigger mugs (if they make such a wondrous thing), a set of 3 or more ball whisks, a set of 4 or more silicone spatulas/scrapers…that’s all I can think of for now. Thanks for getting my thinker going, though!

Pretty much anything cooking/baking related! I’d love an immersion blender, food processor, KichenAid stand mixer, ice cream maker, dutch oven, donut pan, springform pan, bundt cake pan…I’m just a college student, so there are so many things I don’t have yet!

Two things I have always wanted are a marble pastry board and a chocolate tempering machine! I have so many recipes for truffles or candies that call for tempered chocolate, but since I have no formal training, it’s impossible to do it without a machine. I would love to see you give these away – someone would be a very lucky winner!! So many exciting desserts could be made!!

Oh where to start….
-I just bought myself a kitchen aid stand mixer so the ice cream maker and pasta attachments to go with it would be amazing
-Some new rubber spatulas
-a pouring shield for my kitchen aid
-and just about everything to start professional cake decorating(ex. gum paste tools, fondant roller, etc. etc.)
-a silicone mat so i don’t have to go out and buy parchment paper all the time
- Oh i could go on and on and on

On my wish list I would like a kopy kake, an airbrush gun to decorate cakes, oh and also some cookie sheet pans that the finish doesn’t come off of onto my freshly baked cookies!!! Happy Holidays:-)

I totally agree with you on this one. I love Christmas and everything about it – that explains why by January 1st I deal with a few extra pounds
But it is SO worth it…
, some sort of organizer for my recipes (electronic software would be the best if it takes word or pdf files) and some of the Wilton bakeware sets with odd shapes – cannot wait to make a hexagonal tiered cake
So this year on my Christmas list I have some of the things I needed/wanted all year long while making a ton of your coolest recipes: pasta attachment and ice cream attachment for my Kitchen Aid, a Dutch Oven that is not for two servings

I get to escape winter after Christmas me and my mom are visiting my brother down in Myrtle Beach and we need to save our money but we could really use some grocery money say a gift card for Bill, Kroger, Food Lion, or Lowes Foods as those are the type of grocery stores they have down there.
