The Weekend Dish: 11/12/2011

A day-belated Happy Veteran’s Day to all of those who have served in our military and allow us the freedoms we enjoy each and every day. A great big THANK YOU!
Less than two weeks until Thanksgiving! How will you be celebrating the holiday – hosting it yourself, going somewhere? If you’re hosting (or helping to host), do you have your menu figured out? Next week I’ll be featuring a number of Thanksgiving recipes that were huge hits last year, so save a couple of menu slots for what’s coming, I can’t wait to share them with you!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week as well as some bookmarked recipes from other blogs. Enjoy!

Yummy! I’m hoping to spend my Thanksgiving with my parents, since I haven’t in a few years. If my boyfriend can’t get time off, we’ll be spending it with his family! Love the pumpkin bars recipe. I need to make more pumpkin-based foods before Fall is over.
