On the 4th Day of Christmas… A Thermapen Giveaway! (Winner Announced)
UPDATE: The winner of the Thermapen instant-read digital thermometer is:
#1,344 – Jaclyn: Her entry on being a Facebook fan was the winner, but how does she like her steak? “I like my steaks medium rare
”
Congratulations Jaclyn! You should have already received an email from me; make sure you reply with your mailing address so I can get your thermometer in the mail to you!
Thanks everyone for entering, and good luck as the giveaways continue!

Welcome to Day 4 of the 12 Days of Giveaways!
Yesterday I gave away one of my kitchen essentials – a kitchen scale. Today I am following that up with another piece of essential equipment in my kitchen – an instant-read digital thermometer. And not just any thermometer – a Thermapen. It’s pretty much the Cadillac of digital thermometers and has received the “Highest Recommended” tag from Cook’s Illustrated.
The Thermapen is basically super duper awesome. It was originally created for commercial kitchens – it reads a temperature to 0.7°F accuracy within 3 seconds. It’s water-resistant and can be used on anything and everything from meats to bread to deep frying to candy. You can use it for everything, it’s insanely fast and accurate… it’s no wonder I’m totally in love with mine. And I want you to have one too!
