I’m pretty much like a little kid in that I love new toys and I love fun new gadgets. The new NOOK Tablet from Barnes & Noble totally fits that bill. It’s an e-reader meets tablet meets smartphone, wowza! I love that in addition to being a plain ol’ reader, you can browse the Internet (the BEB page came up beautifully!), download apps (I’ve been rocking Pandora), and read newspapers and magazines. I love how you can easily navigate through a daily newspaper, section by section. It’s pretty, colorful, fast and a ton of fun to use.
I’ve totally enjoyed my NOOK and am giving one away to a lucky reader!

“Under the Table” by Katherine Darling
I just finished the book ROOM. It is about a 5 yr. old boy and his mom. The mom was kidnapped and had a baby by her capture. I couldn’t put the book down. Normally I would shy away from a book like this but this book wasn’t about the kidnapping it was how a mothers love and how she raised her child in captivity.
