On the 11th Day of Christmas… A NOOK Tablet Giveaway! (Winner Announced)
UPDATE: The winner of the NOOK Tablet is:

“The last book I read was Head Over Heels by Jill Shalvis”
Congratulations Connie Lee! You should have already received an email from me; make sure you reply with your mailing address so I can get your new NOOK out to you!
Thanks everyone for entering, and good luck on the last giveaway Friday!

Welcome to Day 11 of the “12 Days of Giveaways”!
I’m pretty much like a little kid in that I love new toys and I love fun new gadgets. The new NOOK Tablet from Barnes & Noble totally fits that bill. It’s an e-reader meets tablet meets smartphone, wowza! I love that in addition to being a plain ol’ reader, you can browse the Internet (the BEB page came up beautifully!), download apps (I’ve been rocking Pandora), and read newspapers and magazines. I love how you can easily navigate through a daily newspaper, section by section. It’s pretty, colorful, fast and a ton of fun to use.
I’ve totally enjoyed my NOOK and am giving one away to a lucky reader!

Friend via email. I read The Help recently but I can’t recall the title of the last book but it was the true story about an Olympic runner who was captured during a World War who survived and thrived. It was uplifting and if I wasn’t a bit looney I’d tell you the name of it!

For my recent birthday,DH gave me a 2 volume set of old cookbooks by Meta Givens and I have been reading those, but previously I read “Debt of Honor” by Tom Clancy. Love your website.

Hmmm… I have so many in progress. I’d go with Ratio by Michael Ruhlman. It’s all about the science behind the basic ratios of cooking. Very interesting and helpful if you create your own recipes rather than relying on others.
