On the 12th Day of Christmas… A KitchenAid Stand Mixer Giveaway! (Winner Announced)
UPDATE: The winner of the special edition KitchenAid mixer is:
#154 – Miss Christine: Her comment on being Brown Eyed Baker fan on Facebook was the winner. What she’s baking this holiday season:
“I am baking four recipes for holiday parties and two for the holidays! I I would LOVEE, to have that beauty in my kitchen!”
Congratulations Christine! You should have already received an email from me; make sure you reply with your mailing address so I can get your new KitchenAid mixer out to you!
Thanks everyone for entering, and thank you for making these 12 Days of Giveaways so much fun for me!

Welcome to Day 12 of the “12 Days of Giveaways”!
I’m totally bummed that today is the last day of the giveaways; I’ve had so much fun playing Santa! But, I wanted to end the twelve days with a big ol’ bang, and thought that this mixer fit the bill. I hope you all agree
Not only is this a KitchenAid stand mixer (my kitchen couldn’t survive without one!), but it has one of those oh-so-pretty glass bowls and, more importantly, sales of this special edition model benefit Susan G. Komen Cook for the Cure®’s effort to end breast cancer. So not only do you get a shiny (and gorgeous!) new toy, but I also get to donate to a good cause. It’s a holiday win-win!

I have to admit that when asked what I enjoy baking the most, my reply has always been “I’m not a baker, I’m a burner”. But, you’re site has truly inspired me and has me so excited to try your recipes. I’m anxious to get started and see where this road takes me. Thanks for such a wonderful site.

Way too many things, I’m afraid! Lots of cookies tonight, though.
I would bake tons! I’ve already made a lot of cupcakes but if I get this mixer, boy I would make dozens!
This year it’s cookies, to many that halfway through I want to hurt myself for trying to out do what I did last years. Peanut butter blossoms for the kids, thumprints, shortbreads, white chocolate gingerbread cookies and my absolute favorite tiramisu sandwitch cookies for gifts to my family and close friends.
Every time I think of what to bake, it’s a new cookie. I’m up to four now for sure, maybe 2 more.
I’ve baked approximately 5 things for Christmas so far. I’m hoping that’s enough!

Well, I can’t actually use my oven to bake this year, hasn’t been working since Thanksgiving. Have a service man coming in a few days but not in enough time for my holiday baking. So this year it will be a lot of no-cook treats, like candies, confections and LOTS of chocolate. I do have a mini donut & mini muffin baker so I may try out some things with them to have a couple of little baked items on my gift trays.
I’ll be baking pumpkin pies for sure. I’d love to bake more with this fabulous giveaway! What a wonderful 12 Days of Christmas you have provided!

I plan on baking and decorating sugar cookies, gingerbread men and maybe making some type of chocolate covered candy.
I’m planning to make cookies, cupcakes, and mashed potatoes.. Yes, mashed potatoes.. no one in my hubby’s family makes them – they’re more of a rice and pasta family. They love my mashed potatoes though so I make them every holiday!
