The Weekend Dish: 1/7/2012

Welcome back to The Weekend Dish! We had a little holiday hiatus due to the holidays falling on the weekend this year, but this Saturday we are back and ready for a year’s worth of recaps, recipes and deliciousness. I hope that you all had a fabulous holiday season, enjoying the warmth of family and friends. What were some of your favorite eats during the festivities? We had some killer crab cakes and coconut shrimp as part of our Christmas Eve dinner, and I definitely devoured enough pepperoni bread around New Year’s to last me at least a few months. I’m working on getting back into a routine this week, slowly saying goodbye to the holidays and hello to a new year. I’m glad you’re all along for the ride!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week as well as some bookmarked recipes from other blogs. Enjoy!

Glad the weekend dish is back! I ate a ton of cheesecake around the holidays, which is weird since I don’t usually like it all that much. Ooooh, and spanakopita, love that stuff. Thanks for the mention, hope you have a great weekend
