#783 – Cindy B: “I’m a fan of Sugarcrafter Sweets on Facebook.”
Congratulations Cindy! Be sure to reply to the email you’ve been sent to confirm your mailing address, and your goodies will be shipped off to you!

Welcome to another installment of Free Food Friday! This week I am happy to bring you some fabulous goodies from my friend Tracy at Sugarcrafter Sweets!
Tracy has been blogging at Sugarcrafter.net since 2007 and earlier this year launched her own business, Sugarcrafter Sweets. She began canning in 2008 as a result of being unhappy with many aspects of our current food system, particularly the presence of many unpronounceable preservatives and ingredients in food. She yearned for a simpler time, when foods were more wholesome and the community came together to support their own. As such, the most important aspects of preserving to Tracy are supporting local farmers and their efforts toward sustainability, and sourcing ingredients locally and seasonally as much as possible.
Sugarcrafter Sweets has expanded to include over 80 jams, jellies, marmalades, fruit butters, and preserves, with new varieties being added all the time. Tracy sells her products at farmer’s markets near her home in Rochester, NY, and directly to customers. I have always been in awe of Tracy’s ability to come up with creative and delicious canned goods, and am thrilled to share some with you today! Tracy is giving away a gift basket of a variety of some of her favorite flavors to a Brown Eyed Baker reader… continue reading for the details!
