What I Bookmarked This Week
Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:
Brown Butter Snickerdoodle Cookies (Ambitious Kitchen)
This sounds like a phenomenal spin on classic snickerdoodle cookies.
Carrot Cake Cheesecake Bars (The Sweets Life)
I love carrot cake and I love cheesecake, so I naturally think I would LOVE these cheesecake bars!
Eggnog Banana Bread with Boozy Rum Glaze (Peanut Butter and Peppers)
Looooove this bread! Such a fun way to put a festive spin on traditional banana bread.
Gingerbread Scones (Patty’s Food)
I sometimes forget how amazing scones are until I see a recipe like this. What a perfect recipe for Christmas morning!
Salted Caramel Fudge (Eclectic Recipes)
Christmas cookie trays aren’t complete without fudge, and I’m pretty sure this will knock the socks off of everything.
What was the best thing you ate this week??
Have a delicious weekend!

Wow, what a round up, you’ve been a busy bee again.
I’m loving the homemade Twinkies. How do they compare to the real thing taste-wise? I’m in the UK so they don’t have Twinkies here and I heard all about the Twinkie drama going on in the states. I’ve been looking for a homemade Twinkie recipe for a while but since I’ve never tried one, I’d have no idea whether they’d taste like the real thing or not.

Yea, I made the twinkles and they turned out GREAT. My family ate them in seconds…. Left only one for me!
anyways, I just made sugar cookies, and I discovered ur royal icing tutorial thing…. I think it was ALSO very great, but you should also maybe try making a video…. It would help so people could understand more exactly how you make them. Just so they come out perfect.
it may b a stupid thought, but I think u should try it. I know I would appreciate it!

Hi! This might sound stupid, but I think it would really help ALL of us, a lot if… Well see, I made the sugar cookies… DORIE GREENSPAN one, and I then looked at ur royal icing tutorial and tried it (turned out great!) but I think that maybe it could of come out EVEN BETTER if u made a VIDEO tutorial so I can see each and every one of
Ur mixing, flooding, and other techniques. I think it would really help.
And especially since its the holidays!

Hi there my baking friend….I think you should know that you have helped me survive in Asia the last 18 months with all of your “from scratch” recipes! We definitely love curry and asian cuisine, but nothing beats the taste of home….and no I don’t mean from a box. Anyway, I have been meaning to tell you THANKS for some time now…so here it is. THANK YOU! We love your recipes, and I know all the substitutions now with my Asian markets
I bake cakes, muffins, breads, bagels and so much more thanks to you….
