On the 8th Day of Christmas… A Le Creuset Giveaway! (winners announced)
UPDATE: The winners of the Le Creuset giveaway are:
Grand Prize: #3,637 – Rachael: “I follow you on Twitter”
Runner-Up: #1,370 – shoshana blum: “I follow you on instagram”
Congratulations, Rachael and Shoshana! Be sure to reply to the email you’ve been sent, and your new Le Creuset items will be shipped out to you!

I am so excited for today’s giveaway because my Le Creuset Dutch oven (sometimes also referred to as a French oven) has become attached to my hip ever since I got it 5+ years ago. It was my biggest kitchen purchase to date at the time, and I had been salivating over one for ages. I finally broke down and bought one, and I’ve never looked back. I bought the 7¼-quart size in cherry red and promptly named it “Big Red”. I use it for everything and anything in the kitchen – big pots of soup, stew, chili and spaghetti sauce… braising meat… frying doughnuts… boiling bagels. You name it, and I’ve most likely used my Dutch oven to do it. Needless to say, I am thrilled to be giving away TWO Le Creuset items today! Read below for the details and how to enter to win…

- One “grand prize” winner will receive a 7¼-quart Le Creuset Round French Oven in the color of his/her choosing.
