My Favorite Blueberry Recipes

Best Blueberry Recipes

Did you know that July is National Blueberry Month?! Blueberries rank right up there as one of my favorite fruits. I can eat them by the handful, in cottage cheese or yogurt, added to oatmeal, or in just about any baked good that you can fathom. I love baking with blueberries because of how sweet they are, and how they absolutely burst with flavor when you bite into them. I just can’t resist that gorgeous bluish/purple color that they morph into when they’re baked, either! Blueberries are their best this time of year (I’ve had pint after pint of fabulous berries the last few weeks), so now is the time to buy up as many as you can and get baking. Below are some fabulous blueberry recipes to get the ball rolling for you. Enjoy!

I have a recipe for Maine Blueberry Pudding that is a simplified summer berry pudding made with layers of bread and blueberries. So easy and so tasty:

I recently made the Blueberry Pancake Cupcakes from Your Cup of Cake for a work function. They were awesome! Several people asked for the recipe. The maple cream cheese frosting tops the moist cake beautifully.

I always freeze blueberries so I have them all year. I just bought 12 pints. Usually I can find them for 99 cents – this year $1.69 was the best price I’d seen, so I decided to buy before they were gone.
