Welcome to Day 7 of the “12 Days of Giveaways”!

One of the most fun things that I’ve discovered this year is the home delivery personal styling service, Stitch Fix. You may have heard about it through social media, blogs, or even on one of my Friday Things posts. I am completely in love with this service! I have always been a pretty boring clothes shopper; I dress pretty conservatively and have bought from the same handful of stores for as long as I can remember. I would definitely consider myself “style challenged”. Signing up for Stitch Fix has nudged me out of my comfort zone and got me wearing clothes that I probably wouldn’t have even tried on before.

The way it works is that you fill out a very, VERY detailed “style profile” with everything from your sizes and build, to how often you wear certain types of clothes, what types of clothing appeals to you, how much you want to spend on specific items, etc. Then, as often as you would like (I get a box monthly), Stitch Fix will build a “Fix” for you based on your preferences and any previous feedback (you can even tell them you’d like clothes for a certain type of occasion, like a beach vacation, cocktail party, etc.) and ship it to you. You can try on the clothes with what you have in your closet and decide what you like. Keep what you like, and send back what you don’t in a pre-paid envelope. You only pay for what you want to keep; if you send everything back, the only thing you are on the hook for is a $20 styling fee. If you keep anything, that fee is put towards what you buy. SO EASY! I get so excited each month to see what ends up in my Fix!

I love shopping at Target — I can get almost everything I need there — clothes, gifts, cleaning supplies, and even some groceries. I’ll walk in there to get one thing and walk out having spent an unspeakable amount of money!
