The Weekend Dish: 4/26/2014

Happy weekend to you!

Can you believe that this is the last Saturday in April?! I’m in total disbelief, but I’m definitely ready for things like vacation(!), grilling, and s’mores over a fire. Most of this weekend is going to be spent working since we are leaving for vacation on Friday and I am more than ready to hit the sand, close my eyes, and just plain relax! What do you have going on this weekend?

As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week as well as some bookmarked recipes from other blogs. Enjoy!

What I Bookmarked This Week

Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:

Coconut Cream Bundt Cake (The Baker Chick)
I love coconut cream pie and this cake version looks to-die-for. Great for a summer picnic!

Easy Pizza Casserole (Cookies and Cups)
So in love with this – all the fabulous flavor of pepperoni pizza, without the fuss of making the dough.

Frozen Margarita Pie Bars (Confessions of a Cookbook Queen)
These just scream summer, plus they would be perfect for a Cinco de Mayo party!

Honey Barbecued Chicken (use real butter)
I couldn’t stop drooling over this chicken for days; it’s definitely going on our grill immediately.

Monster Cookie Bars (Oh Sweet Basil)
Cookie bars loaded with add-ins are one of my favorites, and these have frosting on top – bonus!

Have a delicious weekend!

Michelle – hope you have a wonderful vacation. Rainy here but the recipes you bookmarked look wonderful to play with on a cold, dreary day. Thanks!
