8 Favorite Mardi Gras Recipes

Mardi Gras King Cake

[King Cake]

Today is Fat Thursday, which I just recently learned about and talked about yesterday; basically, it means the pre-Lent indulgences have begun! Whether you have traditionally celebrated that or Fat Tuesday/Shrove Tuesday/Mardi Gras (which is next week), I am pretty sure I don’t just speak for myself when I say that any excuse to indulge and enjoy special foods is a good one 🙂  I have dabbled in some Mardi Gras recipes over the years, and wanted to gather them all in one place for you here. From King Cake to bourbon bread pudding, they’re all here. Do you have a favorite food for this time of year? Feel free to share in the comments below!

All of those things look so, so good!! I could seriously go for some of that Bourbon Bread Pudding right now… what is it about Bourbon that makes any baked good incredible? 🙂
