# On the 12th Day of Christmas… An iPad Air Giveaway! (winner announced)

**UPDATE:** The winner of the iPad Air is:

**#3,633 – Stephanie:** *“Having mexican food on christmas eve to avoid the “traditional” christmas eve feast foods!”*

Congratulations, Stephanie! Be sure to reply to the email you’ve been sent, and your new iPad Air will be shipped out to you!

Welcome to Day 12 of the “12 Days of Giveaways”! Our last day!

It’s the last day of holiday giveaways here on BEB, and I wanted to send you into the Christmas season with a bang! I held out on buying an iPad for years after they were introduced, finally buying one nearly two years ago. I couldn’t believe how much I used it, and wished that I had gotten one much sooner! It’s perfect for car trips – from watching videos to playing games – and I LOVE using it in the kitchen. A smartphone is typically too small for following along with a recipe, and I get nervous having my laptop too close to liquids, the stove and other kitchen land mines, so the iPad is perfect. Apple recently came out with the ultra-slim iPad Air, and I am giving one away! Read below for details on how to enter to win!

### GIVEAWAY DETAILS

One lucky winner will receive a 16GB iPad Air, in the color of their choice.

Olivia LebamoffonDecember 17, 2013at12:46 amMy favorite Christmas tradition is Christmas Eve. Since moving away from home, the day I actually arrive back varies from year to year, but I am always home for Christmas Eve! My family has always attended the 4 pm Christmas mass ever since I was a small child and it continues to be a part of our Christmas traditions. Our extended family joins us for this mass and our neighbors always sit behind us. After mass, my family and I go home, put on our Christmas jammies, and make a Christmas Eve pancake dinner. It just doesn’t get any better than that! We usually end the night with a Christmas movie. It’s really just being home for Christmas and being surrounded by loved ones that makes me happy, whether or not we stick to tradition.

My mom started it when I was very young and pass along the recipe and “instructions” when I became a young woman. Love doing this and now that Mom is gone, it makes me feel like I’m still celebrating Christmas with her every year.

Cathy MonDecember 17, 2013at7:35 amMy favorite used to be getting everyone together in garage when my parents lived in Florida. It would be a balmy 80 degrees and at least a dozen of us, family and friends who were around for the holidays, would all sit out there and have a few drinks and chat for hours. It makes me sad that my parents moved and there’s no central location for us to have a big family holiday any more, but I’ll always remember that uniquely Floridian tradition of enjoying the “cool” weather and good company.

DebonDecember 17, 2013at7:37 amMy favorite tradition is taking my younger sister Christmas shopping. She is disabled and I have been taking her every December for the past 25 years. I don’t spend nearly enough time with her and she looks forward to it every year. It is still a special day each year, even after all this time.

karenonDecember 17, 2013at7:42 amMy favorite Christmas tradition is spending time with family. My mother comes every year to be with me, my children and now grandkids. As my children grow up and start families of their own, it has been important to remember to savor every bit of time that three and four generations spend together. I am grateful that my mother is still able to be visit during the holidays and that my children are here to build and share in the memories.
