Enter to win an iPad Air on www.browneyedbaker.com!

Welcome to Day 12 of the “12 Days of Giveaways”! Our last day!

It’s the last day of holiday giveaways here on BEB, and I wanted to send you into the Christmas season with a bang! I held out on buying an iPad for years after they were introduced, finally buying one nearly two years ago. I couldn’t believe how much I used it, and wished that I had gotten one much sooner! It’s perfect for car trips – from watching videos to playing games – and I LOVE using it in the kitchen. A smartphone is typically too small for following along with a recipe, and I get nervous having my laptop too close to liquids, the stove and other kitchen land mines, so the iPad is perfect. Apple recently came out with the ultra-slim iPad Air, and I am giving one away! Read below for details on how to enter to win!

GIVEAWAY DETAILS

One lucky winner will receive a 16GB iPad Air, in the color of their choice.

It’s not Christmas until we make the “Red Pop & Ice Cream” – a float – but using strawberry pop with either Vanilla Ice Cream (or now Vanilla Frozen Yogurt). This was started by my Grandfather (1892-1978) and I passed it on to my kids and I hope they pass it on to theirs as they have them.

Watching Charlie Brown Christmas. I watched it with my mom when I was a child & continued to watch every year even after having my son. I’m now 56 & my son is 36. He still let’s me know when it;s on tv. So even though we are miles away, I know we are watching together & my mom is watching form heaven. It’s funny how such a simple thing can bring such wonderful memories

My favorite tradition used to be opening the stockings. I loved all the silly toys and little presents. In Italy it’s done slightly differently and now I’m a parent so really it’s the whole month. My daughters face when we setup the tree, making the gingerbread house – I just want to shut down everything and celebrate Christmas.
