Penn State Graduation Cake

This cake was made to celebrate the December graduation of a Penn State University student. The client asked for a 2-tier cake with dots on the bottom tier, stripes on the top tier, and the iconic Nittany Lion on the top of the cake. I was admittedly a little nervous about pulling off the lion, but was really happy with how it turned out! The client loved it and I heard they still haven’t cut into the top layer because they don’t want to ruin the lion 😉

I work for Penn State and I believe that you could move to the area and live off of only making these cakes. Or anything in blue and white.

Okay, I came to this late, but I just have to say WOW! That’s awesome. As a native to State College(go big blue!), I know that ANY Penn State grad would be so thrilled to have that cake for their graduation party.

Just wanted to say I am the Mom who ordered the cake for our son’s graduation and could not have been more pleased. Michelle is our daughters friend and had just started doing cakes when I asked her to create this custom cake. It was simply amazing and delicious too! Michelle, you do a great job and I hope you have continued success!
