The Weekend Dish: 4/5/2014

Happy (belated) weekend to you!

I hope you’ve been having a relaxing couple of days and that it’s starting to warm up in your neck of the woods. We’ve had a splattering of warm days here, but tons of rain as well. Suddenly, the grass has transformed from an ugly brown to patches of bright green. Spring has finally sprung! Now if the trees would start to get their leaves back…

As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week as well as some bookmarked recipes from other blogs. Enjoy!

On Brown Eyed Baker This Week

Brownie Pudding – A serious chocolate lover’s dessert; a chocolate soufflé with the contrasting textures of brownie and pudding, complete with a crackly top.

Tuna Noodle Casserole (From Scratch!) – I love this homemade version; so creamy and cheesy!

What I Bookmarked This Week

Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:

Almond Joy Cookie Bars (Heather Christo)
I adore baked goods inspired by favorite childhood candy and these bars sound fantastic!

Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Layered Dessert (Bake at 350)
I cannot turn down anything involving Oreos or cheesecake; throw them both together and I’m in heaven.

Dark Chocolate Coconut Pudding (Blahnik Baker)
The combination of chocolate and coconut is to-die-for, love this pudding!

Peanut Butter Granola (Cooking Classy)
You don’t need to twist my arm to get me to eat anything with peanut butter!

Roasted Banana and Caramel Milkshake (Foodie with Family)
We have been on a milkshake kick in our house lately, and this looks amazing.

Have a delicious weekend!

These all look lovely Michelle! I was kind of laughing that a different recipe won the different categories for most pinned, most emailed, etc. That means they all must be fabulous! I have to try that Brownie Pudding, and I’m heading over to Foodie with Family RIGHT NOW to check out that milkshake.
