The Weekend Dish: 7/26/2014
Happy Saturday to you!
Do you have a big, exciting weekend planned? We’re doing some things around the house today, and then getting together with some family tomorrow. Mostly a low-key weekend, which is my favorite! I haven’t crocheted any squares on my baby blanket in about 10 days, so I need to get back to that, as well!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week as well as some bookmarked recipes from other blogs. Enjoy!
On Brown Eyed Baker This Week
Hot Artichoke-Fontina Dip – Super creamy artichoke dip loaded with fontina cheese.
Coffee and Doughnuts Ice Cream – Coffee and doughnut-infused ice cream, with more crumbled doughnuts mixed in!
Cold Soba Noodle Salad with Spicy Peanut Butter Dressing – This cold noodle and veggie salad is a perfect lunch, dinner or even side dish.
Giant Chocolate-Peanut Butter Chip Cookies – Massive thick and chewy chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips.
Friday Things – Dog updates, Weird Al, Tieks, and more!

What I Bookmarked This Week
Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:
Beer Battered Vidalia Onion Petals (The Little Kitchen)
I just love onion rings (and bloomin’ onions!), and these battered onion petals sound like the best of both worlds.
Caramel Apple Pie Biscuits (Lady and Pups)
The beautiful, cooler weather this week definitely has me thinking about fall, and these biscuits seem like the perfect chilly-morning breakfast!
Chocolate Dipped Key Lime Pie Marshmallow Treats (My Baking Addiction)
What a fun combination of flavors! I love all the different fun variations of Rice Krispie treats.
Spinach Four Cheese Lasagna Roll Ups (Cooking Classy)
Only a little over a month left until September (!!), which means a plethora of pasta Sundays. I’d love to add these lasagna roll-ups to my rotation.
The Best Banana Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting (Just a Taste)
If something’s “the best”, I have to try it…especially if it includes banana cake and cream cheese frosting!
Have a delicious weekend!
