The Weekend Dish: 5/6/2017
Hello hello! Happy MAY!
How in the heck did that happen?! Time just keeps flying on by!
What are you up to this weekend? I did 4 (FOUR!) loads of laundry yesterday, made a failed batch of cinnamon rolls (wahhhh), baked chocolate cupcakes and a crumb cake… so my plans for today include frosting the cupcakes, mayyyyyybe re-trying the cinnamon rolls, prepping an appetizer for tomorrow, and not doing a single thing after the boys go to bed so I can watch the hockey game! I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!
On Brown Eyed Baker This Week
Caramel Tres Leches Cake – The best tres leches cake! Dulce de leche is whisked into the three-milk mixture and then swirled into the whipped cream on top.

Cinnamon rolls are on my backing bucket list so interested to hear if yours work out. I am putting together a BLT Chicken Pasta Salad to take to a Pens watching party tonight. Enjoy the game and Let’s Go Pens!!!
I bought my first California cherries this week, so keep your eyes peeled. They may have cost a small fortune, but they are so worth it!
Looks like you have good weekend planned. Enjoy the hockey gameÂ
