The Weekend Dish: 1/12/2018
Hello hello!
Is your new year in full swing? Now with a full week of routine back under our belt, the fog of the holiday days running into one another seems to have lifted. While I love the relaxation of holidays, it also feels good to get back into a groove again.
I love all of the enthusiasm you’ve shown for the new series that I introduced on Monday, the monthly BEB Bake-Along! Have you tackled the gougères yet? I’ve LOVED seeing all of your creations!
I’m in the kitchen today working on some new recipes; what are you doing this weekend??
On Brown Eyed Baker This Week
January Bake-Along: Gougeres! – Gougeres are savory French cheese puffs made from pate a choux dough with Gruyere cheese. They are perfect bite-size appetizers!
The Best Italian Meatball Recipe – This is my father-in-law’s legendary recipe for Italian meatballs; they are baked in the oven, then simmered away in sauce until tender and moist.
Friday Things – Isabelle’s 9-month checkup, washing machines, planners, air fryers, and more…
