Happy weekend before Thanksgiving!
One more short week before the holiday madness hits. Are you spending time prepping for turkey day? Relaxing and putting your feet up? Starting on Christmas shopping or decorating since Thanksgiving is late this year? I plan to not do too much so I can rest up knock this chest cold out before the holiday festivities begin!

The pumpkin bar recipe is amazing, I recommend you try it. I had it the first time at a potluck and it was the item everyone was talking about and trying to find who made it so they could get the recipe!
I really hope you and yours are on the mend. I have meant to send you the recipe I have for Pumpkin Cheeecake since last winter, and will finally do so.
PUMPKIN CHEESECAKE
CRUST: 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs, 2 Tablespoons sugar, 1/4 cup melted butter. Combine all ingredients and press into the bottom of a 10″ springform pan. Chill while preparing filling.
FILILNG: 12 oz cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon ginger, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/8 teaspoon cloves, 2 eggs, 1 -1 pound can pumpkin.
Beat softened cream cheese with sugar. Beat in remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour into prepared, chilled crust and bake at 325 degrees for 35-45 mins. or until center doesn’t jiggle when pan is shaken.. Pour on topping and bake an additional 10 minutes. Top with pecan halves (best toasted) placed in a ring around the edge.
TOPPING: 1 cup sour cream, 4 Tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla
