The Weekend Dish: 12/13/2014
Happy weekend to you!
I can’t believe that we’re already into the middle of December when I feel like Thanksgiving was yesterday. I love this time of year, but I hate how fast it tends to go. I want more time to enjoy the glow of the Christmas tree, listen to Christmas music and indulge in my favorite holiday cookies. We decked our halls last weekend and began some Christmas shopping this week. A little late for me, but I’m hoping to have everything wrapped up by early next week. We’re also hoping to have the nursery done and car seats installed by the end of next week. So much happening! What are you up to this weekend?
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week as well as some bookmarked recipes from other blogs. Enjoy!

I am such a big fan of biscuits with sausage gravy, and this notion of baking the biscuits IN the sausage gravy is simply genius.
Double Chocolate Party Cake (Sweetapolita)
I have been looking for a fantastic chocolate fudge frosting recipe, and by looks alone, I think I just found it!
Peppermint White Chocolate Cake (Blahnik Baker)
So totally festive! The combination of white chocolate and peppermint is fantastic.
Swedish Meatballs (Simply Recipes)
Swedish meatballs always remind me of shopping at IKEA, and I’ve always wanted to make them. These look amazing! Appetizer or main dish with noodles… how do you like to eat them?
Vanilla Bean Fudge (Chocolate Moosey)
While I’m a chocolate girl through and through, I’m intrigued by this vanilla fudge. Must try!
Have a delicious weekend!
