The Weekend Dish: 12/20/2014

Happy Saturday-before-Christmas!

Do you have all of your gifts bought and wrapped, cookies baked, and are enjoying some favorite holiday movies or music? Hopefully the hectic is behind you and you can spend this weekend relaxing. I still have a small handful of odds and ends to wrap up before Christmas Eve, but am done with all of the big shopping. I still need to START wrapping, though, agh! Tell me about your weekend plans!

As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week as well as some bookmarked recipes from other blogs. Enjoy!

What I Bookmarked This Week

Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:

Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo Bake (Bev Cooks)
I absolutely loved baked pasta recipes during the winter, and this one is definitely going on my list of dinners make.

Cinnamon-Walnut Stuffed Challah Bread (Completely Delicious)
This is one absolutely gorgeous loaf of bread. I could see eating it for breakfast or dessert, which makes it pretty much perfect.

Gingerbread Crumb Cake (Cookie Monster Cooking)
I so love crumb cake, and this seasonal version sounds absolutely delicious.

Maple Glazed Gingerbread Scones (Pinch of Yum)
I’m definitely on the gingerbread train this year, can you tell?! I find scones terribly difficult to resist; these would make a great Christmas morning breakfast.

Raspberry Almond Thumbprint Cookies (blog site)
I estimate that I could eat approximately two dozen of these cookies in one day. They sound amazing and are absolutely gorgeous!

Have a delicious weekend!
