The Weekend Dish: 1/23/2016
Happy Saturday to you!
Are in the path of the big snowstorm that’s hitting this weekend? We’re on the northern edge of the storm, so we’re not supposed to get too much, maybe a few inches. If you’re getting, I hope that you’re staying safe and warm, and enjoying some cozy snow storm activities like hot chocolate, blankets, movies, etc.! :)
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

What I Bookmarked This Week
Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:
Caramel Apple Dump Cake (The Novice Chef)
I love having some of these quick and easy dessert recipes stashed away!
Chocolate Caramel Marshmallows (Domestically Blissful)
I’m pretty sure I could eat 20 of these in one sitting.
Chocolate Chip Cookies and Milk Cake (Sprinkle Bakes)
Totally dying over this cake!! It’s gorgeous and I bet just as delicious.
Frozen Hot Chocolate Cheesecake (Chelsea’s Messy Apron)
Two of my favorites – hot chocolate and cheesecake – in one spectacular dessert.
Iced Amaretto Latte (The Drink Kings)
I actually tasted this drink and while I don’t usually drink coffee OR cocktails, I could have had five of these!
Have a delicious weekend!
I live in Nashville, TN and the snowstorm came through Tennessee yesterday. We ended up with 8 inches of snow which is a lot here and has shut down almost everything. I have cabin fever already. I guess I’ll be baking today!
I’m in York, PA and so far we have about 2 feet! Loving it after the mild winter!
I live in West Virginia, in Randolph County. We measured about 21″ this morning on the patio table, with no signs of slowing. There is no traveling anywhere today; we’re trying to keep the driveway clean, feeding the birds and attempting to free a cardinal on the screened-in porch! Man is she fast-we left the door open, hopefully she’ll find her way out. We pulled some hamburger from the freezer earlier, and I just started searching BEB for some dinner ideas. Hope everyone is staying warm and safe this weekend!!
No snow but I went grocery shopping and you would think that a blizzard was headed our way with how busy and crowded the store was today – ugh- I hated it…otherwise just planning to chill the rest of the weekend. Love what’s on your Sunday menu:)
No snow here in Australia but it’s a long weekend so I’m watching DVDs (and I made popcorn last night)…1st series of House of Cards (because of your recommendation).
