The Weekend Dish: 12/5/2014

Happy first weekend of December to you!

Are you doing any Christmas shopping or baking this weekend? We have some decorating planned here, and I might start doing some baby laundry! I think a batch of my favorite peppermint bark needs to happen, as well. It’s just not the holiday season until I get a batch of that in the refrigerator!

As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week as well as some bookmarked recipes from other blogs. Enjoy!

What I Bookmarked This Week

Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:

Cheesy Cauliflower Gratin with Bacon (The Baker Chick)
I still haven’t fully embraced cauliflower, but I feel like cream, cheese and bacon may do the trick!

Peanut Butter Banana Cream Pie (The Baker Chick)
I totally eat a banana with peanut butter for breakfast sometimes, so this is absolutely up my alley.

Scalloped Hasselbeck Sweet Potatoes (The Baker Chick)
This is such a gorgeous presentation and a lighter way of serving scalloped potatoes for the holidays!

Slow Cooker Turkey Stock (Mountain Mama Cooks)
I love this idea! So much easier than babysitting a pot on the stove all day.

Strawberry Cream Cheese Icebox Cake (South Your Mouth)
This looks amazing; I’m totally making it once spring and summer rolls around again!

Have a delicious weekend!
