Hello and happy Saturday to you!

I hope you’ve had a fantastic week and all is well in your corner of the world. It was FREEZING here the last couple of days, so I’m looking forward to a little bit of warmth this weekend. I would love to get more snow (we’ve only had one real snowfall this year!) but if it’s not going to snow, then it might as well just be warm!

What are you up to this weekend? Any fun plans? Fill me in!

As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

On Brown Eyed Baker This Week

Orange Cookies with Sweet Orange Glaze – These soft, buttery orange cookies are flavored with orange zest and orange juice, and iced with a sweet orange glaze. Their old-fashioned flavor will remind you of your grandma’s kitchen!

Grandma’s Banana Nut Bread – My grandma’s recipe for banana nut bread is a classic banana bread recipe packed full of mashed bananas and chopped walnuts; it can be prepped in 10 minutes and bakes up super moist and dense. A family favorite!

Classic Chicken Noodle Soup (I am not exaggerating when I say I’ve made four pots of this soup in the last three weeks.)

Sunday Dinner Menu
