The Weekend Dish: 2/9/2019
Happy happy Saturday to you!
Are you doing any pre-Valentine’s celebrating this weekend, or are you saving it for this coming week or next weekend? Would love to hear your menus! And of course, this month’s Chocolate Souffle Bake-Along would be perfect for your Valentine’s Day dessert :)
Joseph got a gift card to Barnes & Noble for his birthday, and he was asking about a specific book yesterday; when I suggested going to pick out one or two new books he was super excited, so I think we’re going to do that today! What do you have planned?!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

Have a delicious weekend!
Your little girl is adorable! Getting so big! I have a question for you….with so many if us joining the ranks of the keto craze, I’m wondering if you might be able to include some keto friendly snacks and treats in your blog? I recently made some “fat bombs” with peanut butter, cream cheese, butter, organic coconut and almond flours and rolled in crushed sugar free chocolate chips. They are amazing!!! I am looking for some savory ones as well and would love your input. Thanks so much!
Hi Jenny, Thank you!! As for keto, I honestly have no idea what that diet/eating plan entails, so for right now I don’t have any plans to do so, but there may be recipes here that already fit that category naturally.
YEA!!! No fad diets that only set you up to fail so you come crawling back to them thinking it was YOU that failed!!!
(And as for the mac and cheese? I can’t imagine your children ever asking for any other dinner–especially in the Kraft box form.)
I am keto also. Still following here tho. :D
Your baby is just adorable, and she gets cuter every day, if that’s even possible!🥰
Love Egg Roll in a Bowl. Â
