The Weekend Dish: 4/30/2011
Well, after a rather wet and stormy week, here’s hoping that all of these April showers will bring May flowers. Thoughts are with all of the readers in the south – I hope you all stayed safe and are recovering from the devastating storms.
My week has been a bit of a roller coaster. It started with being in a post-Easter sugar and carb coma, which lead me to make healthy things like granola bars. That sentiment lasted but a day and then the Pens were eliminated from the playoffs and I went full-on chocolate to cope. A crazy week, indeed, although not necessarily surprising. Hold on to your hats, because next Thursday is Cinco de Mayo which means tons of festive recipes!
Now as always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week as well as some bookmarked recipes from other blogs. Enjoy!
