The Weekend Dish: 6/22/2019
Happy weekend to you!
I hope you’re enjoying a nice couple of days; it has FINALLY stopped raining here (omg, it seemed like we wouldn’t ever have a day without rain again!) and the kids have a neighbor’s birthday party today and they are so excited.
Other than that, relaxing with Sunday dinner tomorrow and hopefully some downtime tonight. How are you spending the first official weekend of summer? I hope it’s a great one! :)

We had rain on the first day of Summer too…and I’m in CA. We usually have some June gloom. But this has been weird weather. Anyone hear of this? I went to get pies at Marie calendars last night on special (theyve gotten so expensive)….I got a peach pie for mom n dad, and TRIED to get a boysenberry. They said “they dont sell those”. I know I’ve bought them not too long ago, ok maybe over a year..but still. So I searched online and sure enough looks like they dont make them any more. I thought everyone loved that flavor. I’m going to pollys pies next time. Think I’m over Marie calendars. P.s. love looking at your Sunday night menu. It gives me ideas for meals too…thank u fof sharing.
Here in KC we’ve had rain 48% of the days this year. Unbelievable! It’s raining this a.m. & another storm is due tonight. Rain, rain go away!
