The Weekend Dish: 9/13/2014

Happy Saturday to you!

I hope you had a great week and are easing into a couple of relaxing days. I kicked off my fall cooking this week with a big pot chili and cornbread, and both totally hit the spot! Are you cooking or baking anything special this weekend? I’m looking forward to a fairly low-key couple of days with no real commitments… my favorite kind of weekend!

As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week as well as some bookmarked recipes from other blogs. Enjoy!

What I Bookmarked This Week

Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:

Baklava Pull-Apart Bread (Sprinkle Bakes)
I haven’t eaten baklava in a couple of years and I LOVE this idea!

Boston Cream Martini (The Drink Kings)
My husband made this recently; it looked and smelled SO good, but I can’t drink it. Please have one for me :)

Brown Sugar Apple Cobbler (Bake or Break)
This might very well be the most beautiful cobbler I’ve ever seen. Love the topping!

Caramel Apple Mini Cheesecakes with Streusel Topping (Cooking Classy)
You could combine almost anything with cheesecake and I would go nuts over it; this is no exception, and deservedly so!

Jalapeño Popper Pull-Apart Bread (The Baker Chick)
I love cheesy bread appetizers, and this is perfect for watching a game. I could devour this entire loaf myself.

Have a delicious weekend!
