The Weekend Dish: 9/20/2014
Happy Saturday to you!
I hope you have a great weekend in store; we’ve had a busy, busy week here, and I’m relishing the fact that we have zero commitments for the weekend. I’m looking forward to a lot of couch time, doing some crocheting (the rainbow baby blanket I started months ago is coming along!), and playing around in the kitchen a bit. What do you have planned?

Peanut Butter & Jelly Cookie Bars – Peanut butter cookie dough pressed into a bar pan and swirled with grape jelly.
Apple, Gruyere and Sage Scones – Tender and flaky scones filled with chopped apple, Gruyere cheese and fresh sage.
Maple-Apple Pie with Walnut Crumble Topping – Fresh apple pie with swirls of real maple syrup and a crumble topping studded with walnuts.
Creamy Caramelized Onion & Roasted Garlic Dip – This tastes like a hot, bubbling dish of French onion dip. One of my new favorites!
