The Weekend Dish: 11/19/2016
Happy pre-Thanksgiving weekend to you!
Are you spending your weekend prepping for the holiday, or are you waiting a few days to get started? I’m not planning on prepping anything until further into the week. Believe it or not, I just got our turkey ordered YESTERDAY. I am officially behind on life this year, but I’m giving myself a pass since, you know, the whole birthing a human thing took place less than two months ago ;-)
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!
On Brown Eyed Baker This Week
Green Bean Casserole From Scratch – Green Bean Casserole FROM SCRATCH! A remake of the classic Thanksgiving side dish made with fresh green beans and no canned ingredients.
Cranberry Cheesecake Crumb Pie – This Cranberry Cheesecake Crumb Pie features pie crust filled with a simple cheesecake batter, then topped with a thick cranberry sauce and crumb topping.
Cheesy Corn Casserole – This is my best cheesy corn casserole yet – tons of corn flavor and super cheesy! Perfect for holiday side dishes or summer picnics.
Friday Things – Dominic’s baptism, Joseph’s girlfriend, Einstein, music, holidays, and more…
