The Weekend Dish: 12/17/2016

The Weekend Dish

Is it seriously the last weekend before Christmas?! Well, that happened quite quickly! I still have a bit of shopping left to do, but I’m saving that for next week. No weekend-before-Christmas at the stores for me. I don’t have nearly enough patience! Grocery shopping at 11:30am yesterday with checkout lanes four people deep was a little much, to be honest. I thrive on empty stores, ha!

What’s on your to-do list for this weekend? We’re having our Christmas celebration with my dad’s family today, then a low-key day tomorrow!

As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

What I Bookmarked This Week

This baked cream cheese French toast casserole has Christmas morning written all over it.

I’d love to open my presents while nibbling on eggnog biscotti. Maybe with a white chocolate steamer in hand!

I’ve had Texas roadhouse rolls on my to-make list forever. Need to make them happen!

We may be eating Christmas cookies morning, noon and night, but we still need dinner, right?! I’m putting this Chinese pork mince with noodles on my menu.

I’ll take a piece of this hot chocolate cake over the drink any day of the week.

Have a delicious weekend!
