The Weekend Dish: 8/27/2016
Happy, happy weekend to you!
The last weekend in August, how the heck did that happen?! It’s been quite a long week for us here, it’s been rough physically getting Einstein around and emotionally, too, worrying like heck about him. He had his first therapy appointment yesterday afternoon and the doctors are optimistic that he’ll have a good recovery, so we’re hopeful. In the meantime, we’ve just been keeping everything else afloat here!
What are you up to this weekend? Tell me something great that happened this week!
As always, you’ll find a recap of what was posted to the site this week, the most shared recipes, my Sunday dinner menu, and recipes I’ve bookmarked from other blogs. Enjoy!

What I Bookmarked This Week
Recipes and posts from other blogs that I thought looked especially delicious and that I thought you would like, too:
5 Minute Nacho Cheese Sauce (Budget Bytes)
One of my very favorite guilty pleasures is a big bowl of cheese dip and tortilla chips. I hardly ever eat it, but when I do, I go nuts, and this recipe looks way too easy not to try!
Berry Cheesecake Pops (Gimme Some Oven)
DYING for these cheesecake popsicles! I need a batch in my freezer immediately!
Mini S’mores Cookie Cups (Cooking Classy)
It’s not summer without copious amounts of s’mores, in my opinion. Totally loving this spin on my favorite summer dessert!
Sprinkle Chocolate Chip Cookies (Two Peas and Their Pod)
I didn’t think chocolate chip cookies could get any better, but… SPRINKLES!
The Best Snickerdoodles (Averie Cooks)
I’m always looking for awesome snickerdoodle recipes; I can’t wait to try this one for the holidays!
Have a delicious weekend!
