To be honest, the fact that they don’t contain any novel recipes is the sole reason I’ve started reading them on weekends. The anticipation this morning upon discovering a new dish posted on the site was palpable. We really appreciate it. Even though beef isn’t my favorite, I might have to get this pepper steak from the takeout menu. Your alfredo sauce has made me really excited to eat pasta again. The Sunday dinner menus are always interesting to me. They often provide helpful inspiration for meals. Wishing you a wonderful weekend! The time has come to GO PENS! monkey mart
Hi
I love your blog its the cosy corner of social media for me.
Many years ago on a visit from England I went to beautiful greek fishing village near Tampa in Florida… And we ate the most delicious dish…. Pasta with Roasted green veggies (courgette, artichokes, etc) in a really flavourful cream sauce… I’ve e scoured Internet for recipes to recreate would you or you’re readers have any ideas?
Best wishes to your lovely family
Love your recipes and love watching your children grow up! Thank you for sharing.
I saw your recipe for Pepper Steak and wanted to make it right away. I made it and it was easy and oh sooo
delicious!!! Â It came together quickly for a great week night dinner.Â
Thank you for all your wonderful recipes!
You are so welcome, Luisa, and I’m so honored you made it right away! I’m thrilled you enjoyed it; it’s my husband’s #1 requested meal (and luckily for me, it’s so quick and easy to make!)
I have to admit that I’ve become a weekend reader only because they are not new recipes. So imagine how exciting it was this morning to see a new recipe on the blog! Thank you so much!  I’m not a fan of beef takeout, but this pepper steak looks really good.  And now I can’t wait to have your alfredo sauce make it.  I do like seeing your Sunday Dinner menus.  They usually spark some good ideas for menu planning.  Have a great weekend! Let’s GO PENS!!

Hi Michelle, You’re welcome! There was a new recipe last week too for traditional Belgian waffles you may want to check out! I’ve got more new ones coming down the pipeline :) Have a great weekend!
Michelle (BEB), The new format of your site makes it difficult to discern what the new content is. I also find myself checking only on the weekend as those posts will highlight what’s new for me (and I can only access those because you added menu links for them). The home page of your site seems to display the same few recipes, even if you’ve posted something recently. Your update looks nice, but it’s more difficult to navigate as an end user who is here for the new content (or to find something specific). I know how much work it is to update a website. I also get the sense that this last update has caused readership issues for more than just me.
Having said all that, I love your site and your recipes and I really hope you keep creating and posting.
Your sweet picture led the the only kind thought I’ve had about the Penguins. Ever 😉
I love watching your family grow. Go Bruins!
Haha! Understood :) And thank you!
I did not cook anything but I just love to look at what you are doing.
