Friday Things #409
1. This girl loves all of her dolls and stuffed animals so much. “Mommy, take a picture of me and my pony!” 💞
2. Dominic was very serious about holding a flag for the Pledge of Allegiance during a preschool online snow day last week 😊
3. Scenes of a lazy Saturday morning while I exercised. Joseph is LOVING reading, especially reading to Dominic and Isabelle, and they all just adore books, which makes me so, so happy.
4. The Most Expensive Food in the World… I just need the vanilla, thank you.
5. I saw this posted online this week, and it hit me right in the heart ❤️️
6. My German chocolate cake popped up as trending yesterday and mmmm, I could go for a slice!
7. I can’t believe it’s already almost March… again 😜
8. We had two beautiful days this week with temperatures in the 50’s, blue skies, and sunshine. I love winter snowfalls, but that burst of warmth sure felt good!
9. Oh my goodness, this funfetti pie crust! 😍
10. TGIF! These two sweet faces wish you a happy weekend!
I really needed #5. (Even though it gave me a lump in my throat.) Thank you!
Oh my, the kids, the dogs, they are so precious. So proud of Dominic! I have to tell you, the little girl and the elderly woman made me tear up! Thanks for all you do, love your blog!😁
As a mom of two US servicemen (one daughter, one son – different branches), it warms my heart to see Joseph standing proud with the American flag. 💕🇺🇸 When I watch and read the news these days and see so much hatred toward our own nation, I appreciate parents like you even more. Thank you.
Oops, I meant Dominic! He’s grown so much, I thought it was Joseph! I don’t get on here as much as I used to. And I’m getting old. Haha
With all of my heart, thank you to your family for serving and sacrificing ❤️️
Love Friday Things especially pics of your kids and pups. Have a good weekend.
Cute babies and pups!
Michelle
You’re children are so beautiful and so are your
Pretty dogs
Thank you for sharing us!
Hey Michelle, where’s our picture of that handsome Joseph?
Thank you for sharing our article, that’s really kind. Your dogs are so cute!
I just wanted to say thank you for the little snippets of your family! These Friday highlights are something I always look forward to. I was always a HUGE reader when I was a kid too (still am in adulthood) so it gives me joy to see your kids into books. Thanks for the happiness you spread!
Still love your Friday Things even though I’m trying to eat more plant-based these days. I’m trying to adapt some of your recipes but it can be challenging. I love hearing about your kids and dogs. So happy it’s almost a March. We’ve had a very mild winter in the interior of BC Canada and I’m looking forward to more sunny skies and warmth…oh, and my covid19 vaccination! Best wishes to you!
Wendy, check out Cook Nourish Bliss. She’s very veggie heavy in her recipes and also sensitive to several different food allergies, if that’s important to you. Everything I’ve made from her is delicious.
Oh Michelle I truly love ❤️ seeing the pictures of the 3 children & they are doing so well !!! It looks as though they keep very busy !!! Such a sweet picture of Duke & Judith ! Hope to see you all outside soon ! The weather is so nice lately ! I love seeing the snow too but I have so much more energy & get a lot done around the house when the sun is shining !
Such a pretty little girl. She looks just like you, with blonde beach wavy curls😊 adorable pic of sweet doggies together❤
Saying the Pledge of Allegiance in preschool! How refreshing! Dominic gets an A+ in flag-holding. Your family, including those dogs, is delicious. Thanks for sharing them.
I agree. Seeing Dominic proudly say the Pledge of Allegiance was a touching site to see.
Me too! I teach third grade and I get choked up EVERY TIME I hear my students recite the pledge!
I love your email blasts and Friday Things. I’ve been following you for years and every recipe I’ve made has been a bit hit! You’re an inspiration for me to try new recipes and my “go-to” page when I’m looking for something tried and true.
Thanks for everything you do!
Marla
You are truly blessed Michelle. Rejoice in every moment with your three beautiful little miracles. Oh……and the dogs too. We have always had goldens and they are the best! Stay safe and be well.
