BEB Favorites: March 2018
Welcome to the March installment of BEB Favorites!
It’s the last Monday of the month, which means it’s time for another BEB favorites!
I have a good assortment of some kids things and new favorites of mine :)
Bombas Socks – I’ve talked about these multiple times over the last few months, but I am IN LOVE with these socks. They are so soft and cushiony, not too warm, don’t slip… basically the perfect sock. I like the original ankle, marls, and lightweight crew versions. Plus, they just came out with spring colors!
Every Child is an Artist Art Holder – My aunt bought this for us when Joseph started bringing home a lot of artwork from preschool, and we LOVE having somewhere to hang and display his projects, and he loves looking at them and talking about the different pieces. She said she got it from Kirkland’s, but it appears to be sold out online, however there are tons of them on Etsy!
Walnut Growth Chart – My husband found this on Etsy and bought it for the boys (I have to start getting used to saying “kids” instead of “boys”!). It is absolutely gorgeous, we love it. It’s hanging in our playroom and is just an incredible piece of woodworking; it’s pricey but we were so thrilled with the purchase.
Peppa Pig 7 Puzzle Set – Joseph loves Peppa Pig, and my mom got him this puzzle set for Christmas. He asks to do them nearly every single day and he has gotten really very good. We practice matching colors or patterns or faces, and puzzles are supposedly great for fine motor skill development in preschoolers.
Swiss Diamond Nonstick Frying Pan – I just talked about this on Friday, but I love it so much I had to make sure it found its way into Favorites! It’s the first nonstick pan I’ve bought in… maybe ever? It’s a dream for eggs and stir fry without needing to use much in the way of fat. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it browned stir fry, actually. If you’re in the market for a nonstick pan and want to invest in a good one, I highly recommend!
Vera Bradley Weekender Travel Bag – My mom bought this for me before I had Joseph, to pack for the hospital, and it’s by far my favorite overnight bag. I used it when I had Dominic and also for an overnight when my husband and I went to a wedding in Baltimore. It’s the perfect size for a couple of days away with tons of pockets inside and outside for organization. I just packed it again a few days ago and was reminded of how much I love it :)
Kate Spade Rise and Shine Stud Earrings – My sister just gave these to me yesterday for my birthday and I ADORE them. I don’t wear much jewelry, especially since having the boys (they’re like a moth to a flame with necklaces), but since I wear my hair up so often, she thought I might like a nice pair of studs for everyday wear. They’re gorgeous and perfect!
Mother of Goldens T-Shirt – This was one of my gifts from the boys for my birthday and oh my gosh, it’s seriously so perfect. If you’re a fellow Golden lover, you’ll dig it :)
That’s a wrap with what I’ve been loving recently! I would love to hear about some of your new favorites as well; share them in the comments below!

I love Bombas socks! I get the no-shows to wear with my Converse and they NEVER slip. My husband the critic got some too, even though he commented that they were expensive. They also donate a pair for every pair you purchase 👍🏼
My favorite is white sneaker in shoe and i love to wear it all the time. Most of the time i spend in gym so equipment like trade meal and other things are my favorite.
Happy belated birthday!
I NEED that ‘Mother of Goldens’ tee! It’s perfect! Which color did your boys get for you?
Also, that Swiss Diamond nonstick pan has a hold on me at the moment. I read your comments on Friday and immediately went to the website and read the reviews there. It sounds like a dream for eggs. So using butter, coconut oil, or olive oil would be ok with it, just not the non-stick spray type products? Eggs are so much better when cooked in a little butter :)
Thanks Michelle!
They got me the dark heather, which is what I would have picked for myself :)
And as for the pan, yes, regular fats are fine, just don’t use non-stick spray. I use butter and olive oil regularly on it; I agree – eggs need butter! :)
Happy Birthday!!!
BTW, NEVER use nonstick spray on your nonstick pan…I ruined a VERY EXPENSIVE AllClad nonstick pan that way :(
Thank you!! Ahhhh yes, good tip, definitely not… I would never use it on stainless steel either – it leaves a weird, sticky residue. I only use it for baking pans/dishes.
Happy belated birthday!! I hope that you had a wonderful, fun-filled day!!
Thanks for another great BEB favorites list. I especially love the weekender bag and the nonstick pan. I’m definitely putting them on my “must have” list.
Thank you so much! :)
I’ve been loving the O’keefes daily repair lotion I recently purchased. My dry cracked hands were in need of something that would heal and really work. I read reviews online and had to try it. Within a day or two….no more cracked dry hands. It is also has no scent which always seem to irritate my skin. Thank you for your list. Love the artwork holder for the kids!
Thanks for the rec, Amy! My hands have been crazy dry lately, even though it hasn’t been as cold, so I’m going to give this a try!
Happy Birthday, Michelle! Hope you had an awesome day!
Thank you so much Laurie!
