BEB Favorites: May 2018
Welcome to the May installment of BEB favorites!
We’re nearing the end of the month, which means it’s time for another BEB favorites!
I have a fun assortment of things I’m loving to share with you today…
LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask – This is the most incredible lip treatment I’ve ever used! I saw Jessica mention it last month and added it to my Sephora sale order, and it might be my favorite purchase. I put it on probably every other night and my perpetually dry lips are now NEVER CHAPPED. That is basically insane. I am totally in love with this!
ThirdLove Bras – I first heard of these a couple of years ago and have been wanting to try them, then a coupon showed up in the mail so I finally tried a few. They are AMAZING. The fit is fantastic and they are so comfortable.
Roomba – A lot of people ask how we manage all of the dog hair that comes with having two Golden Retrievers and THIS. IS. IT. We run it every night after we go to bed and it keeps most of the crazy hair at bay. I still swiffer the floors every couple of days to get the corners and under chairs that the Roomba can’t reach, but it makes a MASSIVE difference.
Wool Dryer Balls – I’ve been using these for years, as I wanted to eliminate dryer sheets and they are perfect. The only time I get static is if I dry something that’s fleece; otherwise I don’t have any issues.
American Eagle Jeans – I got these Next Level Jeggings a couple of weeks ago after complimenting two other moms at Joseph’s preschool pickup on their jeans over the last few months and they both said they were from American Eagle. I admittedly haven’t worn anything from there since college, but I figured I’d give them a try and I love them! They are flattering with a nice amount of softness and stretch, which has been perfect for after my c-section, as the “regular” jeans I’ve put on can still irritate my stomach.
One Line a Day Journal – I mentioned this a couple Fridays ago; I’ve started using it and I love it! It’s a simple little diary to record thoughts for the day; it will be a great way to look back on years past (you record five years worth!). I also started using The Five Minute Journal, which is more introspective, less diary, and I love them both!
Tory Burch Miller Sandals – I’ve had these on my wish list FOR.EV.ER and finally got them. They are gorgeous in person and, most importantly, comfortable! They are a splurge, but I own very few shoes, opting most times to go for quality over quantity (I have the same motto with purses!).
Yeti Rambler – I just jumped on the Yeti bandwagon a little while ago, after using Tervis for years, but I wanted to move to stainless vs plastic. I was amazed at how ice cold it keeps my water, and then was thrilled that one of the gifts my cousin got for us bridesmaids last week was a Yeti tumbler! Now I can start a little collection :)
That’s a wrap with what I’ve been loving recently! I would love to hear about some of your new favorites as well; share them in the comments below!

Thank you so much for you monthly favorites. My son, his wife and their Golden will soon be moving to
Easton, PA for her teaching job at Lafayette University. A Roomba will be their housewarming present.
They have wanted one for years for all that dog hair. He also loves the dog bed you suggested. Thanks
and keep up the helpful posts! P.S. You have the cutest family! Congratulations!
You are such a generous mama, what a wonderful housewarming gift! They will be thrilled! And I’m glad the pup is enjoying the dog bed :) Thank you for the kind words!
Team Roomba for life!!! That machine is a GOD SEND!! I have had it drag poop all over the place TWICE and I still love it. Its that much of a game-changer for shedding dogs. LOL.
I will try that lip mask. I have an addiction to chapstick that is ridiculous. I am debating wearing lipstick to force myself to stop licking my lips…I look like a clown with my chapped lips!
Try the tumblers from Ozark trails (Walmart) they are the same thing as the Yeti tumbler and a FRACTION of the cost…seriously. We have tried both – we cannot tell the difference.. We have one Yeti (given as a gift) and 6 Ozark. (hubs and I both use them on our commute to work and we don’t want to wash one everyday) They run about 10 bucks depending on size. You can buy different lids (straw hole vs one that can snap shut) and you can buy handles for the big ones. We LOVE them!
Love your suggestions. I’ve been using something on my lips at bedtime since I was a teenager from Vaseline to Body Shop strawberry lip gloss to Elizabth Arden Lip Protector. Your suggestion sounds good, I’ll try it next time. Re: bras…have you tried Berlei bras? They are Australia’s number one Everyday Bra. I lived there for 30 years and have worn them since discovering them. They are supremely comfortable and flattering…and they ship overseas!
I want those Tory Burch sandals in the WORST way but I just cannot justify them. So they are really that great? A friend of mine told me that there are sales every now & again. I am trying to hold out but they are so cute!!! Third love bras – no kidding! I hear their advertisements all the time on various podcasts but have not seen them in real life! Great pics this month. I am still trying hold back on those sandals!!!!
Hi Heather, I really, really like them, but like I said, I don’t own many pairs of shoes at all, which is how I justified the splurge! Nordstrom IS having their 40% off sale right now!
Good morning, You might try the handle for your Yeti, I found it on Amazon. Just makes carrying lot at once, easier.
Thanks Michelle! I’m excited to try some of these. Our daughter also loves Corksicle. We also love Walmart’s Ozark brand style of insulated stainless steel cup and have found it to be as effective as Yeti.
There is another product that I think is as good as the Yeti brand called Corksicle. It’s also a little cheaper. also have wanted to try the dryer balls, but never knew anyone who had tried them. You also answered my question about static. Thanks
