Here is everything we used and loved over the last month…
Food
Ghiradelli Triple Chocolate Brownie Mix – At the end of August, when we found out that Dominic had been deemed in remission, he asked if I could make brownies to celebrate. Um, yes of course! I had planned on making my better-than-box mix brownies and was stopping at Costco but they did not have the Dutch cocoa that they usually carry, so I grabbed this box of brownie mix in a pinch. And OH MY GOODNESS, best box brownies EVER. They are thick, fudgy, and just all-around perfect. Highly recommend if you want to keep some box mix on hand for emergencies!
Barney Butter Crunchy Almond Butter – I have this on an Amazon subscription; that’s how regularly I go through jars of it! I’ve loved it for a few years now; it’s fantastic on toast, slathered on apple-cinnamon rice cakes, Eggo waffles, graham crackers, toasted pita bread… I’ll eat it on pretty much anything!

OxiClean White Revive Powder – I just started using this a few weeks ago and LOVE it! It brightened up some whites that had gotten a bit dingy and I swear it takes out every single stain. I’m also a huge fan of the OxiClean gel stain stick; I treat any stain with it as soon as I find it and try to let it sit for at least 24 hours. Using the two together, I haven’t had any stains not come out since I started using this powder.
Kids
Owala Kids Flip Water Bottle – I had gotten Dominic one of these over the summer and they were finally back in stock, so I got Joseph and Isabelle each one recently and it is everyone’s favorite water bottle!
Hanes Boxer Briefs – If you have boys, I LOVE the value of these! Dominic was in need of some new underwear, so I gave these a try and he says they are SO comfortable. Win-win!
Adidas Cushioned Quarter Socks – Because everything wears out at the same time, Joseph was suddenly in dire need of socks, and based on reviews, I gave these a try. He is very hard on socks and these have held up wonderfully so far! He also said they are the most comfortable socks I have ever bought him.

Yes 100% we have tested a lot of brownie mixes and that is by far the best one. I do still add a bit more chocolate chips but we always have 1-2 boxes of that on hand!
It you add an extra egg to the brownie mix, they are even better.
Hi Michelle, I’ve used the Ghirardelli’s triple chocolate brownie mix from Costco for years now, great product! I’m curious as to what brand of Dutch processed cocoa powder you usually get at Costco, I’ve been meaning to try some homemade brownie recipes.
On another note, I agree about the boys Hanes boxer briefs, my son wore those for years and never complained about them being uncomfortable like another big brand name. He’s now in a freshman in college and still prefers Hane’s boxer briefs over the other brands. Congratulations to Dominic’s remission!
