1. In a surprising turn of events, flu A made a u-turn and came back through the house 2.5 weeks after Joseph had it… earlier this week, Dominic tested positive for it a day after I felt like I had come down with a cold, so I’m not sure if I got it too? Dominic didn’t seem to get as sick as Joseph, so that was a positive. It seems like EVERYONE has the flu right now, my goodness!

2. Joseph has been playing in a hockey league since the fall and he had yet to score a goal this season, then finally got TWO in his game last weekend! He was so excited and I was so, so thrilled for him.

4. Talk to me about water bottles… I LOVE my Owala FreeSip, however not one, but two, of my lids have snapped in the past month. Plus, we got Isabelle one for Christmas, and the spring broke literally the second time she used it. I know they have a warranty and will replace them (we’ve utilized that), but it’s honestly just very annoying. I will keep them with the new lids until they break again, and then I plan to replace with something else.

I sent out a question on Instagram, and the overwhelming recommendations were for HydroJug, Brumate, Hydro Flask, and Simple Modern. I’m curious if you use any of them, something different, what you love that works for you? I love that the Owala’s drinking spout is completely covered and that it has a built-in straw, but perhaps I have to compromise.

5. What are you loving for lunch these days? I need some fresh ideas!

6. If you are looking for a last-minute treat to make for your family today, my best-ever cut-out sugar cookies are super quick – no chilling the dough OR softening the butter! They are our absolute favorite!

7. I have been wanting to pull EVERYTHINGGGGGG out of my kitchen cabinets and do a full-blown declutter and reorganization for months now but haven’t carved out the time to do it yet. 8. We’ve been excited about the Four Nations Face-Off hockey tournament going on this weekend… I think it’s a fantastic alternative to the all-star game, that many players skip or don’t play very hard.

9. Did you have a favorite Super Bowl commercial? I admittedly did not see them all, but I loved the Rocket Mortgage “Take Me Home, Country Roads”… my favorite of the ones I saw!

10. TGIF! Judith snuggled right up to me two nights in a row; I think she knew I was under the weather 🩷
