Cookie Monster really doesย it right. He loves life, tackles the world one cookie at a time, and makes no apologies for his unbridled love for the sweets that make his eye go all googly. This is my kinda man monster.
While baking fads will come and go, I’m pretty sure that love for cookies will last forever. Sometimes nothing quite hits the spot like a warm chocolate chip cookie, right? I’ve made dozens upon dozens of cookies over the years, but I find myself making the same handful of recipes over and over again. These are my all-time favorites, in alphabetical order…
1. Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

3. Chunky Peanut Butter Cookies

I wasn’t looking for any particular type of cookies, just something awesome to try out, and when I saw those raisin filled cookies, I knew the search was over. Those look amazing. I’m probably going to have to try substituting the filling for various fruits such as strawberries and blueberries. Yum. Thanks a million Brown Eyed Baker!
OMG cookies are my fav. The oatmeal raisin looks delicious!

I love the look of those Chocolate sugar cookies and how you have “wrapped” them in the ribbon. They would be suitable to give as a gift for any event really – Valentines Day, Christmas Easter. Chocolate works with any occasion!

Raisin filled is so old school. They were my grandpa’s favorite and were always such a special treat. I cannot think of a better way to remember him by than having one of these cookies.
I bet when you make these for your family will love you for it
Please Please Please, Brown Eyed Baker – you are my only hope! Once I stumbled on your site you have been my absolute “GO TO” site for perfectly perfect awesome cookies. I find in you the obsessed perfect-cookie seeker I bake (at 375 degrees, check and turn pans half way through then swap top to bottom) within my soul! So, PLEASE – I NEED a copycat recipe for Mother’s ™ English Tea Cookies. I’ve found the Taffy Cookie recipe, but my husband swoons only for the English Tea variety. Can you help, oh Cookie Guru of mine?
Hi Janelle, Unfortunately, I’ve never had Mother’s English Tea Cookies! Are these something you buy at the store? I’ll do some research :)
