Friday Things
1. Joseph enjoyed his first Easter on Sunday, and the bunny made a stop at our house to bring him a book, a stuffed animal, a couple of pacifiers and a new toy. He seemed pretty pleased with his basket haul :)
2. Yesterday I treated myself to a mani/pedi and it felt SO GOOD to get pampered for a couple of hours. I was getting regular pedicures while I was pregnant until the weather got really cold, but I haven’t had a manicure in years. My fingers have never looked so good!
3. Did you hear about the Full House spinoff that Netflix is planning? I LIVED for TGIF television on Friday nights during my tween years. I still enjoy Full House reruns to this day, so I am totally ecstatic about this news!
4. So apparently McDonald’s is going to start offering all day breakfast… my college self wishes that this had happened 15 years ago. Now I’m craving a sausage biscuit and hash browns.
5. These 41 style charts are insanely helpful for those of us who are fashion-challenged. Love!
6. Are you planning a garden for this year? I think I’m going to do some simple containers with herbs and maybe some tomatoes and/or peppers. Tell me what you’re going to be planting!
7. I’m loving this tutorial on how to make a chalkboard print in Photoshop… a cheap and easy way to customize so many different prints!
8. This graphic on how to store your groceries deserves a permanent place on your refrigerator… so helpful!
9. We still haven’t watched House of Cards yet… have you? Everyone I know who has watched it has been underwhelmed by this season, which has me a little bummed. On another note, I’m excited for Game of Thrones to come back on Sunday. Did you see the Seth Meyers skit with bringing Jon Snow to a dinner party? Hilarious.
10. TGIF! Einstein got to enjoy some one-on-one time with Joseph…
I though House of Cards was pretty good. The end disappointed me some, but I was definitely left wondering what will happen next.
Baby Joseph looks adorable and your doggie looks really really cute..Happy Passover and happy Easter very late..Watch on Netflix Bloodline, it is wonderful I super watched the whole thing 13 episodes one weekend, Kyle chandler, Sissy Spacek, Ben Mendohson, Sam Shepherd (tiny bit of the series) it is wonderful, shot in the florida keys, we watched one episode of House of Cards the new one and that was it for us, just toooo depressing and they make Claire into something I would never consider doing, now that Hillary Clinton threw her hat into the ring running for President I think House of Cards is terrible, it makes women look really bad, I don’t want anything to happen to Hillary Clinton’s chance for the run at the oval office.. Little baby doll is such a cuttee pie and your dog is something wonderful..You must be so very happy, congrats.! Ciao &XXX()()()()()XXXX
Looking for something really good to watch, Outlander, I finished all epsisodes and my husband binged on the episodes, he loved it.. you will really enjoy….cannot wait for next episode
cute! our boy loves his bendy ball, hope joseph loves it too!!
Soooooooo sorry. Joseph. So sorry. Don’t keep my comment ahhhhhhhhhh.
Too cute picture of David. Is it me, or in every picture you take of him, he really looks like he’s thinking? He looks very smart.
Bloodline is worth watching on Netflix.
OH man, I would love to do some planting/gardening. I was thinking some herbs etc in the kitchen… Also, I just moved into a new office at work, so a plant or two in here would be wonderful. All that oxygen and stuff :)
Seems to be happier with the dog than the basket
What a sweet Easter basket! Great idea!

Love Joseph’s expression in the Easter photo. The second photo is precious!
They’ll be best buddies one day! I always liked watching Full House….
We’ll do container tomatoes and I want to try my hand at growing some strawberries.
Your baby boy is so precious! He is truly an adorable little boy! Love the site, thank you!
Precious pictures of baby Joe and Einstein both – glad to see that they are all getting along so well. As for GoT…can’t freaking wait! I need to know what’s going to happen next with my fave characters! Probably will not do a whole garden because we would need to get in a ton of new dirt – our dirt is garbage! Will do some plants in planters though and have some strawberries that I plan to put in a planter – will see how they do – might get some of those tiny tomatoes too since they are a summer favorite
I enjoyed House of Cards this season. It was a little less evil than other seasons and I was very relieved!
THAT’S the one I’ve been waiting for – Joseph and a furry friend!
I love the picture of your new little guy. He is so cute–but I’m missing the pictures of your furry friends. How are they?
I really loved House of Cards this season! The first few episodes were a slow start but I was not disappointed! :)
hehehe – the picture of Joseph with his Easter Basket is precious! On an Easter note, pun intended, my granddaughter wrote the Easter Bunny a letter this year. It started: “Daer Ester Benny,” we have laughed and laughed over that! She’s a little old to spell that badly and I told her that the poor Easter Bunny would need a translator for her letter!
Can’t wait until Sunday! I hadn’t seen the Seth Meyers skit – it IS hilarious! Thanks for sharing!
My Daddy always plants peppers and tomatoes – and a small herb garden. The sweet 100s tomatoes are AWESOME!!!! I highly recommend them.
I’m glad to see that Einstein also enjoys Joseph’s company. What wonderful dogs you have!
Have a great weekend!
I really enjoy your Friday Things email…….I will be planting tomatoes and cucumbers
I actually laughed out loud when I saw his facial expression in the first picture!
I love the look of Joseph’s face in the first picture. I am definitely intrigued by Full House coming back! I loved that show! I think part of it was just because DJ’s sister was named Stephanie. :)
Thanks for sharing the fashion chart. I am not a fashionista. :)
Enjoyed seeing Joseph & Einsteins pictures! Joseph’s picture with his Easter basket is precious. Thank you for all the delicious recipes – something to fall back on when you want something new – great! Happy Weekend…
I LOVE the photo of Joseph with his Easter basket…..although I’m not sure he’s entirely pleased. ;) He is SO cute!
A dog is a baby’s best friend.
Those 2 are priceless. House of Cards was a real disappointment this season. My husband and I could not understand. I hope next season improves, that is if there is one..
Who needs whimpy little stuffed animals when yo have two big, furry buddies living in your house? The picture of Joseph and Einstein is precious.
One garden suggestion…a plant at least two “Sweet 100” cherry tomatoes. I do not plant seeds but rather purchase already started single containers at a local produce/garden center and have had great success. I get tons of sweet little cherry tomatoes starting in mid-July and going right through until the first really cold days. Happy weekend!
Happy Friday! I cannot wait for GOT to come back. It’s been too long. That skit with Jon Snow is way too funny. I’m surprised I hadn’t seen it yet. My boyfriend and I are only on Season One of House of Cards, but we’re enjoying it so far.
What?! A Full House spinoff?!?! I loved TGIF too. Adorable picture of Joseph. Glad he had a nice first Easter! :)
