Friday Things #531

1. Thank you so much for all of your continued prayers, good thoughts, and well wishes as Dominic went into his scans last week, and as we waited for the results. I’m so happy to share that all of the scans came back clear of disease, and he remains in remission!
2. I hope that you had a wonderful 4th of July holiday! Do you do anything fun or have any special food traditions?
3. I recently found the Instagram account Miss Freddy, which is all about digital photo organization and I LOVE it; it’s given me so many good ideas on how to wrangle the best of phone photos.
4. One thing I forgot to mention in my June Favorites – this massive pack of zippered mesh pouches. I loved them for organizing things on vacation (different charging cords, sunscreen, goggles, snacks, etc.) and have continued to love them here at home.
5. From a recent James Clear newsletter:
Novelist and poet Robert Louis Stevenson on the shortness of life:
Save This Recipe
“Old and young, we are all on our last cruise.”
6. I haven’t made rice krispie treats in SO long! Any household favorites of yours that you haven’t made in awhile?
7. For all of my fellow Billy Joel enthusiasts, I just saw that SiriusXM added back the Billy Joel channel for the month of July! (I believe it’s channel 79.)
8. We are so excited to start watching the Olympics! What are your favorite events? I love the gymnastics, swimming, and diving.
9. We finished watching Mare of Easttown and it is definitely one of my top five shows of the year that we’ve watched. Very, very good, highly recommend!
10. TGIF! Duke turned 11 on Sunday!! We had so much fun celebrating him and Isabelle insisted that he wear a crown :)

Such wonderful news about Dominic.🙏❤😊

So happy for you all and the wonderful news regarding Dominic. Thank you Jesus for answered prayers for this little boy.😊🌻
Your “Friday Things” are always a bright spot in my week. The picture of Duke is precious — what kind of birthday “cake” did you make for him? So happy Dominic’s news continues to be positive — ENJOY!!!! We have been loving all this OLYMPICS — the trials really got us excited. What platform is the Mare of Easttown on? We’ve been watching Presumed Innocent which has kept us on the edge of our seats — didn’t love this last week’s episode was much as the first four but I will keep watching.
I am so happy about Dominic’s results!!! Continued prayers! 🙏❤
Happy birthday to Duke!! 🎂My rescue dog is 11 too.
Enjoy your summertime with your family!🌞
