Say hello to Dominic Aldo! He came into the world on Tuesday, October 4th at 6:44am.
He weighed 7 pound 14 ounces and was 20 inches long!

We are so happy to be home and getting all settled in as a family of four. Joseph has already been the sweetest big brother… as soon as he saw him, he just kept saying, “brother!” and giving him kisses.
Makes my heart melt!
I’ll be settling in and recovering, but do have recipes made to keep you busy for quite awhile. Just know that I will be responding to email and comments more slowly than usual. Thanks so much for your understanding!
Now I’m off to have some newborn snuggles and enjoy hugs from my big boy ❤️

Congratulations! I’ve been reading your blog for almost two years now (although I’ve never commented), and I love your writing, especially the stories about your family (I come from a big Italian-American family too!) Anyway, I was hoping you would have the baby on the due date, because October 4 is my birthday too (I just turned 25, blah!), and also the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi! It’s a good day for a birthday. :)
