Peanut Butter Snickers Cookies

So, these are pretty much some of the most awesome cookies that I have ever had. Ever.
Imagine the most perfect peanut butter cookie, then throw in chunks of Snickers candy bars and milk chocolate chips and you have all that is good with the world in these cookies. I’m always looking to do something new with peanut butter and chocolate and as soon as I saw these I knew that they were the perfect spin on some of my favorite things.

Snickers fall in line behind peanut butter cups in terms of my all-time favorite candy and I typically cannot resist anything that involves them. The original recipe for these cookies called for using the “Peanut Butter Squared” variety of Snickers, but I went to three stores and couldn’t find them, so I used regular Snickers. Of course two days after making these I was in the check out line at Target and saw the Peanut Butter Squared Snickers. Go figure! I will certainly try those next time too! No matter what version you use, if you like peanut butter cookies and you love Snickers, you will not be able to resist these cookies. I couldn’t keep my fingers off of them! They’re peanut buttery, chocolatey, ooey and gooey. Cookie and candy perfection!

Peanut Butter Snickers Cookies
Ingredients
- 1¼ cups (156.25 g) all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon (0.75 teaspoon) baking soda
- ½ teaspoon (0.5 teaspoon) baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon (0.25 teaspoon) salt
- ½ cup (113.5 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (258 g) creamy peanut butter
- ¾ cup (150 g) granulated sugar
- ½ cup (110 g) light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups (225 g) chopped Snickers candy bars, about 4 regular size bars
- ¾ cup (135 g) milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Set aside.
- 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- 3. In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the butter and the peanut butter together until fluffy. Add the sugars and beat until smooth. Add the egg and mix until combined. Add the milk and the vanilla extract and mix again.
- 4. Add the flour mixture and beat until flour disappears. Stir in the chopped Snickers and chocolate chips.
- 5. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheets. (I weighed mine out to about 2 ounces of dough per cookie.) Gently flatten each cookie ball with the palm of your hand. Bake for 10-11 minutes, or until cookies are slightly brown on the edges.
- 6. Cool the cookies on the baking sheets for about 5 to 10 minutes, then remove to a rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

i am on a peanut & chocolate binge…bring on these fab cookies!!
I made this recipe last week and they were the best peanut butter cookies I have ever eaten. The snickers just made the cookies even better. My husband has been begging me to make them again.
Got to be the most devious, I mean delicious cookies going
A couple weeks ago I made these cookies off of Two Peas and Their Pod and they were quite tasty. I, like you looked for the PB Snickers and didn’t find any but made them with the regular Snickers. They are on the “to make again” list. Enjoy
I’m pretty sure that if we met we would be best friends. :) I love your recipes and this one looks awesome!

Looks delicious Michelle! I don’t think very many snickers would make it into the cookies in my house though :-)
Hell yes. These look amazing, and I might have to make them this weekend. I am salivating in front of my screen as I type this.

These make me happy, no matter the kind of Snickers bar!
Glad you liked the cookies:)
This look so gooooooood!!!!!
I’m going to have to go buy bigger pants after making these :). And I’m exactly the same when it comes to chocoalte “bars” 1. PB Cups 2. Snickers (number 3 is a revolving door). Toss some M&M peanuts (my kryptonite) into these cookies and my head my explode :).
These look AMAZING!!! Seriously, I’m close to drooling right now, YUM!
yum yum yum. The Peanut Butter Snickers are the most amazing candy bar EVER, so I can only imagine how ridiculously awesome these cookies would be with them. The peanuts and caramel in snickers must give these cookies some awesome texture!
Oh man, nothing about these looks bad! At first I thought it said PB snickerdoodles, but PB snickers is not a disappointment
Yum! I like the way caramel oozes out of the cookies :)
I want one right now – the picture is making my mouth water! These look crazy good and I will be making these soon! Amazing photos!
YUM, these look good! When I was in college, one of my friend’s moms would make cookies like these, only she would take peanut butter cookie dough, wrap it around a fun-size Snickers and bake it. She topped it with powdered sugar and a drizzle of chocolate frosting. I was obsessed with them! Maybe these can be my grown-up upgrade :)
Sounds like the best recipe I’ve ever read. Ever. ;)
These look fabulously delicious! I have added pieces of candy bars to my cookies in the past, and they are always a hit. :) Thanks for sharing another tasty treat!
These look beyond incredible! Cookies + PB + Snickers…what’s not to love!
Wow! These look amazing!! Its the perfect cookie for me :)
I also love snickers! I still haven’t tried the peanut butter version but that needs to happen soon!
Oh these look gooooood! Thanks for sharing!
My mom and sister love peanut butter cookies, but I somehow grew out of my obsession for them as I got older. Maybe because my boyfriend hates them and somehow brainwashed me, or maybe because I’ve had so many bad ones over the years. But these look delicious! I need to make a batch soon for my mom, and I’ll probably steal one for myself for old memories sake. ;)
yum! pb & chocolate, match made in heaven.
Ohhh my goodness, those look unbelievable! I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER above all things, and mixing in four Snickers bars to a PB cookie? Amazing.
